We need more space!
We have been so overwhelmed with donations and the demand for our service that we no longer have the space to operate out of our garages.
Managing, sorting, packing, cleaning and safety-checking donated items is very labour intensive and requires a lot of space!
What we need now is a warehouse space to facilitate the huge volume of donations we receive and also to be able to host more volunteers, more regularly. Having a purpose space would enable us to exponentially increase our impact and the number of people we can help.
We have found the perfect place! We will need $30,000 to secure and fit out a space that will work well in the long term and enable us to operate at high volumes and provide meaningful, practical help in our community.
Our goal is to secure this property before the end of Winter. Winter is an especially difficult time to be doing it tough and we would love to get as many warm clothes and blankets out to babies who need them.
