Baby Give Back relies upon support agencies to assess the need of their clients to ensure our donations are going where they are needed. We do not provide donations directly to those in need.
We are responding in a practical way to the need in our community, which is far greater than we ever imagined when we started Baby Give Back. Research indicates that 1 in 6 children aged under 14 years on the Coast live in poverty – that’s more than 14,000 kids!
The people we help may be affected by domestic violence, illness, injury, mental health issues, disability, unemployment and even natural disasters. We have migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in our community needing a helping hand to get their new lives started. We also have those struggling with, or affected by life-controlling addictions; many kids living in foster and emergency care; and women and teen girls with unplanned pregnancies who are living in poverty and/or crisis.
“Such a great and generous organisation. I feel proud and humbled to be able to provide your packs to women in need. Thank you.”
“Awesome work guys to be able to provide much needed items that help these mums to be out in such a significant way.”
“A huge thank you to everyone at Baby Give Back and all donors. We have a couple of babies due in the next day or two, and many many more new mums and bubs who are so grateful to be the recipients of such beautifully packaged high quality baby needs. On behalf of the Zig Zag support workers and all of our beautiful young mothers we thank you so very much.”
“On behalf of our families … we thank you for the wonderful donations to date. A donation went today to a family in a domestic violence scenario who had a bare house. It was a real treat to see their faces when everything was delivered! You have all been exceptionally kind and it’s very much appreciated.”
