Recycle your baby items today

Our warehouse is open to accept your kind donations.

Hours: Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm. We are also open on Tuesday evenings until 7:30pm.

Location: 10/15 John Duncan Crt, Varsity Lakes. 

Do you have gently-used essential baby items such as a cot, pram or car seat that are no longer using? Books, baby and children's clothing, bottles and even open packets of nappies are all welcome too.

We accept bassinets with a wide and stable base that have all sides made of mesh. We are unable to accept bassinets with solid fabric sides or Moses baskets. 
To make sure your bassinet follows Australian product safety standards, please check that:
* Sides of the bassinet are at least 300mm higher than the mattress top
* The mattress is no more than 75mm thick

Please include the bath plug with your donations. We do not re-home bath aids.

We accept bottles and feeding items in great condition. Please wash prior to donating.

We can re-home unused breast/nursing pads.

We can re-home both electric and manual breast pumps in near new condition.

We can re-home carriers like Baby Bjorn, Ergo or similar front carriers, but we do not re-home other types of slings or backpack carriers. If you are unsure please send an email to safety@babygiveback.org

All car seats must be no more than 8 years old (9 years for a capsule) and have NEVER been in a car accident. We ask that you please wash the cover before donating it.

We can ensure the covers are put back on correctly after we safety inspect them.

We accept change mats but do NOT re-home change tables at this stage.

We accept all cots as long as they have all the sections and don't have any broken parts. We can repair general wear and tear.

We currently accept boys and girls clothing from size NB to 10 years. All clothing must be washed and in excellent condition.

We accept all brand of un-opened formula

Highchairs must have a 3 or 5 point harness and be perfectly clean.

All linen must be freshly washed and have no stains.

We accept maternity pads

Cot mattresses must have a label with the dimensions printed and a date of manufacture.

We accept disposable open packs, individual nappies and new cloth nappies.

We accept nappy bags, please ensure they are in full working order.

We only accept models that have all four sides made of mesh.

All prams must meet Australian safety standards.
* Must be able to recline
* Must have 5-point harness, faultless brakes and sun hood.

Please vacuum and clean before donating, and please include the original manual if you have it.

We accept children shoes up to aged 10. Please clean shoes before donating.

We can only re-home sleep suits/sacks with open arm holes (no angel suits).

We accept kids and adult unopened toiletries. Please ensure that you check the expiration date before donating.

We do not re-home stuffed toys that contain beans or lithium batteries. All toys should be less than 45 cm in size (fit inside a backpack). Please wash all stuffed toys prior to donating.
