Every child deserves an equal start in life

Get to know us

Clothing is a fundamental need for every child to thrive. Baby Give Back provide donated basics like clothing and nappies to vulnerable babies and children through social service agencies and caseworkers.

Get Help: Our Programs

We work closely with caseworkers and social service agencies to deliver essential clothing items to children. While we can’t support individuals or families directly, if you connect with an agency they’ll be able to place an order on your behalf.

Clothing Boxes

In Queensland, 60,000 children aged 0-5 are living in poverty and disadvantage, lacking access to essential basics like clothing.

Clothing Boxes provide families in need with good condition, clean, second-hand essential clothing for their young children. Available for boys and girls, they contain an assortment of summer and winter clothing in sizes ranging from premature (00000) to size 5. Clothing Boxes are packed by volunteers and distributed via caseworkers at health services and social support agencies.

Northern NSW

Baby Give Back continues to provide disaster recovery support to families in Northern NSW through existing program partners.

Safe start boxes

Each year, around 10,000-12,000 babies in Queensland are born into poverty and disadvantage without access to essential basics for their crucial early weeks.

Safe Start Boxes are a beautifully packaged gift from the community to vulnerable new mothers, easing the stress of not having basic baby essentials. Each box includes everything they need for the first few weeks of life for a new baby. Packed by volunteers, these boxes are distributed through caseworkers at hospitals, health services, and social support agencies.

Sustainable Approach

At Baby Give Back, we operate a closed circular loop for baby and children's clothing, ensuring quality items are continually repurposed to support families in need. By collecting, packaging, and redistributing second-hand clothing, we reduce waste while extending the life of these essential items. This closed-loop system not only provides a sustainable solution for outgrown or unused clothing but also promotes a responsible cycle of giving, where families can benefit from high-quality, safe items, all while contributing to a healthier, more sustainable future for our children and our planet.
