We have changed how we do things.
We have refined our focus to reach more children in need. To do this, we are now only accepting and redistributing quality clothing and essential items like nappies and wipes that make the greatest impact. Clothing is a basic human right, and by prioritising it, we can provide immediate relief to families and scale our support across Queensland. Our warehouse and drop off points can no longer accept any items outside of our updated guidelines.
Managing large items has become costly and unsustainable, and shifting our focus allows us to help more children while staying ready to respond to natural disasters. We’re grateful for your understanding and continued support in making this possible—together, we can ensure every child has access to the clothing they need to live, play and learn.

Refining the donated items we can accept
We recognise the importance of larger items like cots, prams, and car seats for families, but to make a greater impact we needed to shift our focus. We want to meet the core clothing needs of every child in Queensland, rather than meeting all needs of only a few. Starting in 2025, our focus will be on providing vulnerable children aged 0-5 with essential items like clothing during the most critical stages of their lives. We encourage you to share your items that we can no longer take using these resources we’ve created.
What can I do with other items?
At Baby Give Back our mission is to give children an equal start in life by providing material basics (like clothing and nappies) to vulnerable families. To ensure that we can reach as many vulnerable children as possible, we need to refine the items that we can accept into our warehouse.
We encourage you to pass on all of the items you no-longer need that are in great condition and linked below are some ways you can do that.
