BDO Australia Joins Baby Give Back to Help Families In Need

Baby Give Back recently visited our partners at BDO Australia in Brisbane to facilitate a group volunteering session as part of their BCaring Program; blending learning, connection, and hands-on impact.

BDO’s BCaring Program is a two-year giving initiative designed to maximise long-term impact through financial support, volunteering and workplace engagement. It also helps in raising awareness about the realities many Queensland families face, from housing instability to the rising cost of living.

The visit began with a presentation about Baby Give Back’s mission then followed by a practical volunteering activity where the staff sorted and quality-checked donated children’s clothing and essentials.

In just one afternoon, the BDO volunteers made a significant impact, totalling  45 children helped, 22 hours of quality checking completed, and 33 hours of total volunteering time. We’re grateful to the BDO Brisbane office for their warm welcome and for their continued commitment through their BCaring Program.

Corporate volunteering with Baby Give Back gives your team a powerful, hands-on way to make a real impact for local families. We can host your team in our warehouse, where staff work side by side to sort, prepare and pack essential items for vulnerable children. Or we can come to you and run on-site sorting sessions in your workplace.

Whether it’s in our space or yours, the experience is practical, meaningful and deeply connecting. Every item sorted and every box packed becomes a tangible expression of your organisation’s values in action. These sessions don’t just support families in crisis; they strengthen team bonds, boost morale and give employees an experience they can be genuinely proud of.

Partnerships like this are about more than volunteer hours. They’re about sharing the belief that every act of care counts, and together, creating real, local change.
